The role
Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Chief Delivery Officer (CDO), who will be a voting member of the Board and will report to the new Chief Executive Officer, Trish Bennett, who will take up the post on the 1 November 2024. The CDO will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective systems, processes and capabilities to enable delivery of operational excellence across our broad and complex range of services.
The person
An inclusive, creative, inspirational and clinically qualified Chief Delivery Officer, you will bring extensive experience in operational delivery, transformation, and partnership building in complex, relevant healthcare services.
Already operating at, or close to Board level, you will provide leadership to the delivery of organisational structures that support innovation, continuous improvement and further embedding of a Just and Learning Culture. Leading the quality improvement strategy and the Centre for Perfect Care, you will bring substantial relevant operational experience to deliver consistent quality and performance. Working effectively with colleagues and partners across the wider Integrated Care System you will seek to improve outcomes for our populations and reduce the significant existing health inequalities. The Trust provides specialist inpatient and community services that support physical and mental health and specialist inpatient learning disability, addiction and brain injury services.
